ABOUT THE POSITION
RNs are responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. The RNs are responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. The RNs collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes, among other duties.

- Ambulatory Surgical Center (Pre-op, PACU, same-day surgery)
- Open Heart Surgery
- Cath Lab
- PACU
- Float Pool
- Post Partum
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current state Registered Nurse license or eligible for immediate state license
- At least two years experience as an RN in acute care WITHIN a desired area of specialty (above)
- Basic life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification
- Able to meet physical and sensory requirements of job
- Must be highly motivated and committed to a quality of care that emphasizes the patient first

ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES TO CONSIDER:
- Housing Bonus—$5,000 payable toward the closing cost of a new home (2-year commitment required of employee)
- Retention Bonus—$1,000 paid out twice annually. Unlike a one-time sign-on bonus, MVRMC nurses receive a retention bonus paid out for the entire duration of their employment.
- Tuition Reimbursement—up to $2,500 paid annually toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing (a one-year commitment is required of the employee, pro-rated)
- Travel Bonus—$1,000 paid quarterly to nurses that reside 50 miles or more from the hospital. $800 paid quarterly to techs that reside 50 miles or more from the hospital.
- Relocation Assistance—up to $2,500 reimbursement for relocation expenses (U-Haul, fuel, meals, and hotel expenses).
- Interview Expenses—reimbursement for the cost of traveling for the onsite interview (airfare/car rental or mileage, meals and hotel expenses).
